ITINERARY

Your day starts at 6.45am with a shatkarma practice (internal purification), followed by a herbal tea.

Pranayama and asana practice take place for the next 2 hours before indulging in a delicious vegan brunch.

Karma yoga (selfless practice) follows...the duration depends on the type of karma yoga and it is usually around 15 minutes. A traditional sauna/steam is prepared for your break, followed by a dip at the cool pool. You can also spend your break at the beach (30m away from the yoga studio). The next class is a theory class on yoga philosophy before having another break for a refreshing juice or tea. The following class is anatomy or asana theory (this includes benefits and contraindications for all postures, adjustments and how to avoid injury in yoga. The second asana class is next; this is a stretching class or a mobility class and once a week, a yin class.

Dinner is another feast for the senses, followed by an introduction to Bhagavad Gita (you will watcha video-15 min)

The day ends here most days; on some evening there will be 30 min kirtan or music or a short movie.

From the second week of the training, you will also teach in pairs or small groups as part of your teaching practice.
